AYURVEDIC COUNSEL: LIVING IN ALIGNMENT

You are here. You were chosen to be.  And somehow, you made it this far. You are here for a reason. There is no one else in the world that is like you. Your unique fingerprint is in your constitution (earth, water, fire, air, space), according to Ayurveda. Then wouldn't it make sense that you eat, sleep, move, according to your unique you? 

 

Through a holistic approach that is unique to your unique constitution, these sessions will facilitate the type of transformation that will support you in reaching your highest self.

Living in Alignment Program

NUTRITION. LIFESTYLE. MOVEMENT

The Ayurvedic: Living in Alignment Program is designed to do just that, working with your unique constitution to build a diet, yoga program, and lifestyle rituals that works for you.  Over the course of 7 sessions we will co-create the handbook to living in accord with your natural self. 

​

Sessions

 

Session 1:  Intake/health goals/lifestyle examination: For those who are new to working with me, this session involves an a thorough intake in which your constitution and imbalanced element is assessed, your goals and concerns specified, strategies considered, and a specific course of treatments is designed for you. For those who have gone through this with me, we will do a thorough review of your lifestyle and work on building a strategies journal.

Session 2: Pantry/Recipe building according to your constitution: We will situate foods, locate sources, come up with combinations and recipes that balance and uplift your constitution

​

Session 3: Yoga sequence & practice I: Through exploring areas of pain, imbalance, joy and fun, we will work on building a yoga sequence, determine times and days, and atmosphere, to build a yoga practice unique to your constitution. 

​

 

Session 4: Cooking in Alignment: We will choose the right meal, for the right time of day, with the ingredients from our previous session, to engage in cooking & etiquettes of aligned eating.

Session 5: Morning Rituals: You may already have amazing morning rituals. Lets build on that to align with your constitution and elemental imbalance. 

​

Session 6: Evening Rituals: The evening could often be a wind down from the stresses of life. We will look at some rituals/habits that can ground your wind-down in your constitution.

Session 7: Yoga Practice and Putting it all Together: We will finesse the yoga sequence we developed so that it becomes a practice and move extend this movement through your morning/evening rituals and diet.

Q. What does it mean to live in alignment? 

​

A. It means that you were born with a specific constitutional makeup. A composition of earth, water, fire, air, space, in varying degrees. This is your nature. Thus, to live in alignment means to live according to your nature in - what you eat, how you eat, how you move, what you listen to, etc.

​

Q. Who should do the living in alignment program? 

​

A. If you feel like you are doing everything right, but everything doesn't feel right. If you feel like you are eating "healthy" but you feel bloated, off, fatigued. If you feel like you are exercising and fit, but feel stiff and disconnected. If you get confused about what the right diet, movement, lifestyle is for you. And of course, if you feel like you aren't doing any of this, but would like to live a truly healthy life.
